(Butte County, CA) – The Butte County Sheriff’s office reports two more suspects have been arrested, after entering the Cohasset evacuation zone.

Deputies were dispatched following a report of possible looters along Sycamore Valley Road, where they found a pickup parked at the Cohasset Road roadblock. There, they located two women around half a mile away, in the evacuation zone. 41-year-old Delmara Apel of Cohasset and 43-year-old Amy Jackson of Chico were taken into custody.

As well, a pre-booking search resulted in an additional charge for Apel when a bag of meth and a glass pipe were discovered “on Apel’s person” according to a release.
