(Sacramento, CA) — A suspect is in custody following yesterday’s bomb threat at a Sacramento County library. According to the local sheriff, the suspect told an employee at the Arden-Dimick Library on Watt Avenue that he had a bomb shortly before the facility was evacuated around 4:30 p.m. Officers reportedly were called to the scene a short time later and arrested the suspect, whose identity was not released.
Early last night, department sources announced that bomb technicians had determined the backpack left outside the library did not contain any explosives. Sometime later, however, police reportedly found unspecified explosive materials inside the suspect’s home.
