The public is invited to a general meeting and open house tomorrow, hosted by Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture. The event is designed so the public can be made aware of past accomplishments, as well as future events and current programs.
The Appeal-Democrat reports Yuba Sutter Arts & Culture is now in its 43rd year, providing “art programs, education, advocacy” and even service to “artists, governments, organizations and residents in the Yuba-Sutter area.” Tomorrow’s meeting includes the election of new officers and Director David Read tells the paper, “We love inviting the public into our palace of fine arts right on Plumas Street in the heart of Yuba City” adding, “Those in attendance will get an advance look into what we have planned for the next year and beyond and be able to provide input.”
Tomorrow’s event includes light appetizers and beverages and begins at 5:30, at the Sutter Theater Center for the Arts at 754 Plumas Street, Yuba City.
