(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Sutter County Board of Supervisors has unanimously approved a fire services agreement for the City of Live Oak, that will increase the city’s share of operational costs from 75% to 85% according to The Appeal-Democrat.

The Supervisors also approved a new three year contract for Sutter County Administrator Steve Smith, that includes a raise to $245,600 a year, with increases annually over the next two years. However, the specifics of the increases are not provided by the paper, but it does note “Smith’s new contract is effective…until his employment is terminated.”
