(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Casa de Esperanza’s Executive Director issued a press release yesterday announcing the opening of a new support center, at 103 D Street in Marysville, “within the next several weeks.”
The release says the New Haven Counseling and Support Center will work in conjunction with the existing shelter, to ensure that all services provided to shelter residents are also available to the unsheltered in need of assistance to escape domestic and sexual violence.
Casa de Esperanza was also recently granted $130,000 from the Sutter Medical Foundation to boost security with new fencing, which will include security gates “and implementing more protections that will enable survivors and staff to enjoy shelter activities without fear.”
