(Truckee, CA) — A plane crash near Tahoe Truckee Airport in a snowstorm claimed two lives Saturday night. The crash site was less than two miles from the airport.

The victims were identified as Liron and Naomi Petrushka, associated with UpWest, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm.

Crews are currently repairing railroad tracks damaged by the crash, while the cause remains under investigation by authorities.
