(Live Oak, CA) – Although delayed for several months over concerns of cost and what services they were and were not paying for, the Sutter County Sheriff’s office has issued a press release that, at their meeting Wednesday, the Live Oak City Council ultimately voted unanimously to approve a new five year contract for law enforcement services in the city.
In a statement, the Sheriff said, “I look forward to our continued partnership.”
The new agreement officially takes effect July 1st. The city will pay $2.6-million for the first years, adjusted for potential increased costs or requested increased services.
