(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The names of the two people killed, as well as an injured man, in last Saturday’s pre-dawn murder/suicide/critical injury shooting at an apartment complex in the area of Northgate Drive and East Onstott Road Yuba City, have been released.

The Appeal-Democrat reports police officials have identified the shooter as 36-year-old Joel Rohm, who shot and killed himself, after shooting and killing 34-year-old Esther Diaz. Rohn had been in a previous relationship with Diaz.

A third individual, who was critically injured in the incident, has been identified as 21-year-old Ryan Newsome. He reportedly was “hospitalized in stable condition” according to the paper, citing Kim Slade with the Yuba City Police Department. She added that detectives are “still working on the status and relation” of Newsome.”
