(Willows, CA) – CHP-Willows continues their search for a hit & run driver, suspected of hitting and killing a pedestrian on I-5, Sunday evening, March 10th.

The deceased pedestrian has been identified as 69-year-old David Meyer.

The collision reports notes it was cloudy and rainy and that “for unknown reasons, Meyer was laying on the freeway in the right northbound lanes.” According to The Glenn County Observer, “Meyer’s upper body was on the right shoulder and his lower body was in the slow lane.”
