(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Yuba Water Agency has partnered with local public water providers to offer water conservation kits to Yuba County residents. It’s part of a local water conservation pilot program, according to a press release.
Yuba Water is providing up to $50,000 to develop 1,500 conservation kits, in partnership with the Olivehurst Public Utility District, Linda Water District and the Wheatland North Yuba Water District to distribute the kits to their customers. They should be available by late spring, and will include a rain sprinkler gauge, kitchen & bathroom faucet aerators & water conserving shower-heads along with garden hose nozzles. The kits will also include information on detection and addressing common household leaks.
