(Yuba-Sutter, CA) — Yuba City Police report that Saturday night around 7 PM, officers were dispatched to Home Depot regarding a shoplifting.

The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle and was last seen eastbound on Colusa Highway. Officers located the vehicle and conducted an investigative stop near the 1400 block on Colusa Highway. The driver was identified as 37-year-old Darryl Hall. Hall was the only occupant inside the vehicle and was positively identified as the shoplifter from Home Depot.

Through the investigation, officers located .52 grams of fentanyl and a loaded .357 Magnum Derringer inside the vehicle. All of the stolen property from Home Depot was recovered and returned.

Hall was booked into Sutter County Jail for petty theft, and several drug and weapons violations.
