(Undated) — The Oakland Athletics are exploring options for a new interim home stadium. The A’s lease at the Oakland Coliseum expires after the 2024 season, so the team and league have been looking into places to play until their stadium in Las Vegas is complete. MLB commissioner Rob Manfred did comment on potential cities that the league and franchise were exploring.
ESPN reports that staying in Oakland, or a move to either Sacramento or Salt Lake City are all possible.
Manfred also stated that he would be disappointed if the league did not reach its goal of opening the new stadium in Las Vegas on Opening Day in 2028.
