(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Shaking and loud booms throughout the Yuba-Sutter area and beyond last Friday morning, had social media buzzing with speculation of an earthquake or explosion, or both.

As it turned out, it was explosions according to The Appeal-Democrat, citing an email from Charlene Spade with Beale Air Force Base that reads, “I can confirm that Beale AFB, Explosive Ordinance Disposal conducted detonations at the range this morning.”
