(Yuba-Sutter, CA) — Three back-to-back storms are lining up to drench Northern California. The first system is expected to make landfall Friday evening and move into the Central Valley overnight. Another storm will follow close behind on Saturday during the afternoon.
The National Weather Service says skies may clear out just in time for the 2nd half of the 49ers playoff game against the Green Bay Packers Saturday evening. But showers will fall again Sunday afternoon with moderate to heavy rain and gusty winds.
Some areas could see thunderstorms Sunday and rain sticks around Monday. Snow levels are expected to stay above six-thousand feet.
