(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Yuba and Sutter County’s lone medical transportation service provider for the lat 43 years, since 1980, will continue in that role – for at least another 3 years – as a contract extension has been approved. The Bi-County Ambulance President & CEO released a statement following the agreement, saying they are “proud of our team and the high quality of care they provide to the Yuba and Sutter communities” and that they “appreciate the opportunity to continue serving…”

County officials noted that Bi-County Ambulance has never fallen out of response time compliance, averaging “around eight minutes” according to The Appeal-Democrat.

Earlier this year, in an effort to create more interest in EMS careers, Bi-County Ambulance was offering $75,000 – $95,000 a year with a $15,000 signing bonus.
