(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – PG&E has scheduled a safety inspection of the natural gas pipeline that runs from Yuba City to Lincoln, using the new robot that detects dents, corrosion or any other potential problems from the inside. The inspection is set for the next two weeks and PG&E advises residents near their facility on Live Oak Boulevard may smell natural gas as occasional venting occurs. The inspection will take place from October 31st through November 4th, and again from November 6th through the 8th.
Venting will occur prior to each day’s operation, from about 7:00 until 8:00 in the morning. However, there will be no interruption of gas service for customers.
