(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – At their meeting Tuesday, the Yuba City Council gave unanimous approval for the Sohal Ranch subdivision to move forward.
The area involved encases 41 acres at George Washington Boulevard and Lincoln Road. 179 single family homes are proposed and a 2-1/2 acre community park is included in the plans.
Meanwhile, the council also unanimously approved an infrastructure development plan for the Newkon Ranch subdivision on the southeast side of town, according to The Appeal-Democrat. The 221 acre site is between Bouge and Stewart Roads and is proposed to have 423 single family homes, 220 multi-family homes, 230,000 square feet of commercial space, 108,000 square feet of office space, as well as several acres of parks and open space.
