(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Marysville School District officials have issued an attendance challenge in an effort to combat what is being referred to as “chronic absenteeism” which is a post-pandemic, national issue. As a result, the Marysville District is challenging students and their parents & guardians to commit to 180 days of perfect attendance, at all 23 MJUSD schools.
The Director of Student Welfare and Attendance noted in issuing the challenge, “Attendance in school sets the stage for success as an adult.”
