(Truckee, CA) — There are no reports of injuries or damage after a preliminary magnitude 3.4 earthquake centered near Truckee. The earthquake hit at 9:20 Sunday night. It was centered nine miles southeast of Truckee and about 21 miles north-northwest of South Lake Tahoe.

The U.S. Geological Survey says people reported feeling it in those two cities and around Reno and Carson City, Nevada as well.
