(Rio Linda, CA) — The investigation into a body found inside a stolen U-Haul van in Rio Linda is now a murder investigation. On Monday, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office announced the victim, a man, had multiple gunshot wounds.

The body was discovered Sunday, on a road near Rio Linda High School. The U-Haul was reported stolen out of South Sacramento last Thursday.
