(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Yuba City Police Department reports a traffic stop last week resulted in two loaded firearms and fentanyl being seized.
Officers stopped what is described in a press release as “suspicious vehicle driving slowly on Redhaven Avenue.”
The driver, 23-year-old Martin Gonzales, also the registered owner of the vehicle is on searchable probation. A search of that vehicle resulted in officers finding a loaded, unserialized AR-15 with a 100 round drum magazine, fentanyl pills and fentanyl powder.
A passenger, 26-year-old Amarrea Gill, gave consent to search her person and purse, and a loaded Glock 22 was located in her waistband and “several fentanyl pills” were also found in her purse.
