(Rancho Cordova, CA) — The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is investigating reports of a man making racially-motivated threats and trying to run people over in Rancho Cordova. Deputies were called to Heron Landing Community Park on Sunday night. That’s where a man allegedly threatened to shoot and bomb a group of middle eastern people who were there, then drove through the park and tried to hit them with his car. T

here are no reports of injuries.

The man took off before deputies arrived and is still on the loose. But, authorities have his identity and a vehicle description, with a license plate number.
