(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Sutter-Yuba Mosquito & Vector Control District reports more evidence of West Nile virus from mosquito collections last week.

It is now considered “widespread” throughout the valley floor of Yuba & Sutter Counties.

Additionally, West Nile virus has been confirmed in two dead birds and two sentinel chickens flocks last week. However, no Yuba-Sutter human infections are reported so far at this time.
