(Yuba-Sutter, CA) — The Marysville City Council took some available funds from Senate Bill One and Marysville measure C and awarded $3.3-million-dollars for road improvements inside the city.
According to The Appeal-Democrat, the bid package has roadways that need to be overlaid, repaved, recycled or otherwise reconstructed as well as roadways that require preventative maintenance measures in order to slow the deterioration of the roadway sections and extend their lives and curtail expensive reconstruction.
Eleven different streets will benefit from the work and city officials say it should all be done in about 60 days.
