(Oroville, CA) – A juvenile has been arrested in Oroville on suspicion of murdering 13-year-old Amadeus Miller-Ramos. His body was found dumped in a field near the intersection of 18th Street & Tehama Avenue.
The investigation began Tuesday when Oroville Police officers came upon an abandoned, stolen vehicle. Evidence indicated there had been a shooting inside the vehicle, that there had been four juveniles in the vehicle before it was abandoned, and while inside, according to a Butte County Sheriff’s office press release, “One of the juveniles was manipulating a firearm.”
The firearm discharged once and the bullet hit and killed Miller-Ramos. The juvenile suspect’s name is not being released.
