(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – An investigation into the death of 32-year-old Jesus Chavez, found dead on Wilbur Avenue in Yuba City July 5th, has resulted in the arrest of 27-year-old Courtney Robinson.
The investigation determined Chavez had died of a fentanyl overdose and Robinson was the suspected dealer. Undercover NET-5 agents set up a sale with Robinson in the 2500 block of Palm Street, where she showed up with 2.4 grams of the drug and was arrested. She has been booked on charges of murder and sale of fentanyl.
Meanwhile, in a release from the Yuba County Sheriff’s office reports Deputy Planta made an arrest and seized 3.7 grams of tar heroin and just over half-an-ounce of fentanyl and meth.
No suspect is named in the release.
