(Placer County, CA) — A man classified as a sexually violent predator will be released in Placer County. On Monday, a judge granted conditional transient release to William Stephenson. He will live in an RV provided by Liberty Healthcare.

The 66-year-old was initially expected to be released in Amador County, sparking protests there.

The exact location where Stephenson will be placed is still being reviewed. It will be discussed during a public hearing on September 1st.
