(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Several cooling centers are opening up in the KUBA listening area with an Excessive Heat Warning taking effect today.

In Yuba City, a cooling center will be open tomorrow, Sunday and Monday at the Sutter County Veterans Memorial Hall, 1425 Veterans Memorial Circle, from 2:00 until 8:00. Small pets are welcome at that location.

In Marysville, at New Beginnings Wesleyan Church and at the Life Center, from 10:00 in the morning until 8:00 in the starting today, through Monday. New Beginnings is at 113 F Street.

Pets are allowed at both cooling centers.

In Oroville, the Rescue Mission at 4250 Lincoln Boulevard will be open as a cooling center from 10:00 until 7:00.
