(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Sutter County Sheriff’s office reports a month long investigation has resulted in a child pornography arrest in Sutter.

The investigation was launched when authorities received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip led to detectives to Sutter where a search warrant was served at the residence of 58-year-old Paul Wheeler.

A forensic extraction of his electronic devices “found thousands of child porn images and videos” according to a press release.

Wheeler was arrested and booked for possession and distribution of child pornography.
