(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Construction has begun on the new Linda Fire Department building at the corner of Scales Avenue and Lindhurst.

With an increase in the department’s calls for service and the need for additional staffing, the LFD has outgrown their current facility. The new building will house administrative staff, training and conference rooms. It will also include a display featuring the history of the Linda fire department, including their 1924 American Lafrance fire engine.
