(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Yuba City Police Department reports two arrests in connection with a shooting last week. It occurred Monday the 19th at around 8:00 in the 800 block of Colusa Avenue. The victim, whose injuries are non-life-threatening, was shot when he stepped in to separate two people having an argument over the purchase of illegal drugs.

The YCPD investigation unit identified the suspects as 18-year-old Draven Vandorn of Yuba City and 18-year-old Angel Isai Aleman-Saucedo of Marysville. Vandorn was tracked north to Shasta County and arrested in Anderson, while Aleman-Saucedo was taken into custody at his Marysville residence in the 1700 block of River Run Drive.
