(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Marysville City Council has approved a 3 year, $73,000 Bryant Field lease agreement with Highlands Community charter school, which has already spent an estimated $300,000 in upgrades. That includes rebuilding the infield, painting, electrical and fence repairs.
Going forward, Highlands, an adult charter school with over 13,000 students in 30 California locations, is solely responsible for all maintenance, city-approved improvements and utility costs. The city maintains the right to hold community and reserved events at the facility, all billboards, banners and electronic advertising must be pre-approved by the city.
Highlands has naming rights, but the words “Bryant Field” must be included.
