(Humboldt County, CA) — No injuries or damage have been reported following an earthquake that struck off the Northern California shore. The epicenter of yesterday’s 5.5 magnitude quake was about 70 miles from Petrolia, which is located in Humboldt County. The United States Geological Survey says there were reports of rumbling received in other communities in that area. The last deadly earthquake to hit California was back in December.
