(Sacramento, CA) — The Sacramento Kings are one loss away from elimination after falling to the Golden State Warriors in Game Five of their playoff series. Wednesday night was the first time the Kings have lost on their home floor in this series, and the first time the road team has won a game. The Warriors also have now won a road game in a playoff series for the 28th straight time, which is an NBA record.
Stephen Curry had 31 points in their 123-116 win. De’Aaron Fox still led the Kings in scoring with 24 points despite a broken finger.
The Kings will look to keep their season alive Friday night in San Francisco. Defending champs Golden State will be looking to close it out and face the winner of the Lakers-Grizzlies series.
