(Sacramento, CA) — Kings’ leading scorer De’Aaron Fox is planning to gut it out and play tonight. Fox says he’ll be in the lineup for Game Five against the Warriors at the Golden One Center, despite fracturing his left index finger in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s Game Four loss in San Francisco.
Fox says he’d probably sit out for a week or two if it was the regular season, but in the playoffs it’s a different story. The injury is especially concerning because Fox is a left-handed shooter. Fox took part in a non-contact practice on Tuesday and wore a padded splint on the injured finger.
Someone is leaving tonight’s game with a three-two series lead. So far, the home team has won every game of the series.
