(Oroville, CA) – The circumstances surrounding the death of a man found in a field in Oroville yesterday afternoon are under investigation.

Officers responded to that field at HWY 70 and Montgomery Street. An Oroville Police Department spokesperson tells Action News they believe the man, whose name has not been released, was homeless and that they don’t suspect foul play “at this time.”
