(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Releases out of Lake Oroville are largely unchanged for three days now, in the 14,500 cubic feet per second range. That matches almost exactly inflow over the same period. The lake level as a result has remained at 857 feet, 82% of capacity, over the last 72 hours.
Consequently, area river levels are remaining mostly steady with the Feather River at Yuba City 35 feet below flood stage. The Yuba River at Marysville is 22 feet below flood stage. And the Sacramento River at Colusa is forecast to recede to 60 feet, 3 feet below monitor stage and 10 feet below flood stage, by this evening.
