(NorCal, CA) — Several schools and school districts in the Sierra Foothills will be closed today in the aftermath of the recent powerful winter storms. Ten districts and two Individual schools are closed.
The entire districts closed today include the Placerville Union School District, Pioneer Union School District, Black Oak Mine Unified School District, and Camino Union School District.
Also not having in-person classes today are El Dorado High School and Union Mine High School. In most cases this is because of debris or snow and ice on roadways making it too dangerous to travel.
