(YCPD release) – As of Friday, February 10, 2023, Marian Wilkinson still remains missing. Investigators from the Yuba City Police Department are continuously speaking with her family, co-workers, and friends in an effort to learn of Marian’s interests and any possible locations she may have gone. At this point in the investigation, Marian is listed as a voluntary missing adult, and foul play cannot be established. With the limited information surrounding Marian’s disappearance, Investigators are exploring all possible avenues.
On February 8, 2023, Yuba City Police Investigators partnered with the organizers from Say Love and the Sutter County Sheriff Department and searched the levee of the Feather River. Members from the Yuba City Fire Department swift water rescue team also rode jet skis along the river to aid in the search.
On February 9, 2023, Yuba City Police Investigators requested the Sutter County Sheriff Department dive team to search the Feather River using their sonar equipment. Additionally, members from the California Highway Patrol Air Team flew a helicopter over the Feather River searching the banks and waterway.
In addition, the Yuba City Police Investigators have continued to follow-up on any leads from callers indicating they saw Marian. Investigators have been leaving flyers at local hotels, and contacting local businesses requesting to view video surveillance in an effort to locate her. No additional searches have been scheduled with Say Love until a new search location could be established.
