(NorCal, CA) – DWR reports Lake Oroville at 775 feet, up 19 feet from last Friday’s report, 54% of capacity, up 5%. Inflow reached a month-high of 36,456 cubic feet per second Saturday and outflow has been minimal, from zero to no more than 493 cfs on Christmas Day.
Lake Shasta meanwhile is reported at 971 feet, up 9 feet since last Friday, at 44% capacity, up 4%. Releases have been as low as 25 cfs
and as high as 2,866 since New Year’s Day.
Although there are portions of the Sacramento River at or near flood monitor stage, no levee issues are reported and river levels are forecast to begin dropping today.
