(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is observed on the third Monday in January, in commemoration of the life of the slain civil rights leader, who died by assassination in 1968. As the holiday is now a federal one, that means many businesses and services will not be in operation that day.
That includes Yuba-Sutter Transit, as The Appeal-Democrat reports ‘service will be suspended’ on Monday and its offices closed.
