(Sacramento, CA) — The death toll from California’s severe weather is climbing. At least 17 people have lost their lives during winter storms. The latest happened yesterday when two people crashed into a tree in Tulare County after it had been struck by lighting and fell.
Meantime, the search for a five-year-old boy in San Luis Obispo County will pick back up this morning. He was swept away by floodwaters on his way to school Monday after his mom’s truck got stuck.
