(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – Saturday night’s rain & wind toppled trees and power poles in South Sutter County, knocking power out for several hours at a Reclamation District drainage pump near Robbins. A notice from the County Office of Emergency Management says PG&E crews worked in flooded conditions to restore power to the pump, but water drainage canals of Robbins, as well as Pleasant grove, remain a threat. As many as 4,207 Sutter County customers were without power overnight Saturday and well into Sunday.
Last Friday, Sutter County’s Administrative Officer proclaimed a local State of Emergency, enabling the county to receive state & federal resources if necessary.
