(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – The Sites Reservoir Project has been awarded another $80-million-dollars in federal funding through the Bureau of Reclamation’s Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act. This brings the grand total of the Sites Reservoir Project to $214-million-dollars to date and The Appeal-Democrat reports that the Sites Project Authority was also recently informed they qualify for an up to $2.2-billion-dollar low interest loan, through the EPA’s Water Infrastructure Finance & Innovation Act.
At last report, the total cost of the Sites Reservoir Project was in the $4-billion-dollar range.
