(Fair Oaks, CA) — The wicked winter storm that passed through Northern California on Sunday has now claimed four lives. On Tuesday, a 63-year-old woman was found dead under a tree that had fallen in her backyard in Fair Oaks. Firefighters found the woman dead on Tuesday morning, but have not said when the tree fell.
Since Sunday, falling trees have also killed residents at their homes in Carmichael, Yuba City and in Santa Cruz County. Sacramento County recorded wind gusts of nearly 70-miles-per-hour on Sunday.
