(Butte County, CA) – Butte County Sheriff’s detectives continue to “actively and zealously” investigate the murder of 20-year-old Tyler Dickson of San Pablo, who was fatally shot while sleeping in a tent the night of July 3rd, 2021 in the Bidwell Canyon Campground.

BSCO has issued a press release that the Governor’s Reward Program amount for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the murderer is up to $50,000, saying “our hearts go out to Tyler’s family and we’re hopeful this reward will renew public interest in this case and result in justice for Tyler.”
