(Yuba-Sutter, CA) – In Federal Court in Sacramento, 11 foreign nationals, 9 from Chile, 1 from Peru and another from Venezuela, have been indicted for using blowtorches, heavy-duty power tools and cell phone jammers to commit a total of 29 bank, credit union and ATM robberies.

Their total haul amounted to over $4-million-dollars in cash. The robberies occurred between May and October of this year throughout Washington, Oregon and here in our state. The California robberies included one in Yuba City and others in Roseville, Rocklin and Auburn.

The group utilized construction crew disguises and in several cases, took out short term rentals next to their targets, tunneling through walls to get to the cash.
