YUBA/SUTTER SETS RECORD WITH 61 ADDITIONAL COVID-19 POSITIVES YESTERDAY

Yuba/Sutter’s Bi-County Health Department reported a single day record high of 61 new COVID-19 positives yesterday, increasing the local total to 1,434 cases – 701 active – with 28 patients currently hospitalized, including 6 in ICU. The death toll remains at 10.

Glenn County meanwhile reported another COVID-19 caused death yesterday, their second in as many days, for a total there of 3. They also reported another 6 positives for a total of 352 to date – 32 active – 5 people hospitalized.

Colusa County reported 2 new cases yesterday for a total of 359 to date – 70 active – 2 hospitalized with another 70 quarantined. The death toll is unchanged at 4.

The Butte County total reached 1,029 cases yesterday, after an additional 17 positives were reported – 142 active – with 12 people hospitalized. The death toll is unchanged at 8.
