The Yuba City Mall – now re-branded as ‘The Yuba Sutter Marketplace ‘ – is scheduled to reopen today, the first in the state according to a press release from new owner Ethan Conrad, who owns the establishment at Highways 99 & 20. It will now be open Monday thru Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and Sundays from 11:00 until 6:00. The owner reports the custodial team will be regularly sanitizing so-called ‘high touch areas’ and employees will be required to wear masks and take frequent hand-washing breaks. Social distancing decals have also been placed on the floor to direct foot traffic. Retailers now must limit customers to no more than one, for every fifty feet. As well, the play and stroller areas and drinking fountains are now off limits.
