(Merced County, CA) – A Yuba City man has been arrested in Merced County after CHP pulled over 30-year-old Carlos Beltran Ramirez on I-5 near Los Banos for a traffic violation and “noticed factors to suspect the driver was engaged in criminal activity.”

K-9 Officer Bruce alerted to the odor of narcotics and a search of the vehicle turned up 11 pounds of heroin in a suitcase.
